After sharingThe Continental’s first official poster yesterday, Peacock/Lionsgate followed up with an exclusive look at John Wick’s world in the 1970s, all to the tune of Donna Summer’s “I Feel Love. In the preview, viewers will get a proper look at Colin Woodell as Winston Scott. This preview also delivered the news thatThe Continental’s three episodes will be coming to streaming on Peacock this September in the United States, though not exactly when, with the miniseries premiering on Prime Video in other markets.
The synopsis for the series labelsThe Continentalas a “three-part event” that will unravel some of the mysteries behind the assassins' hotel. However, it also gives some clues on Winston’s past by saying the future manager will “face a past he thought he’d left behind” in New York’s underworld. For fans, seeing aJohn Wickgold coinand those bloody sheets will take them back to some of the film’s iconic scenes.
The Continentalproducers have teased one of the show’s main goals is to continue developing the ideas and concepts already existing inJohn Wick.However, that doesn’t mean the series won’t deliver plenty of action to go along with it.
