An interestingGenshin Impactchart shows how long it takes to finish each of the game’s Archon Chapters. These quests are considered to be the game’s main storyline since their story is closely tied to one of the regions and their respective Archons who serve as the nation’s main protectors.
So far,Genshin Impacthas introduced five out of the seven major regions with Natlan and Snezhnaya being the only two nations that are yet to be explorable. The ongoing version 4.0 has added the long-awaited Fontaine region along with its Hydro Archon Focalors who has already made an in-game appearance.

A Reddit user named laughtale0 has shared a very interesting chart that shows how long each ofGenshin Impact’s Archon Quest chaptersand acts is. The chart was apparently created and posted by a Facebook page namedGilgamesh GamingOne thing that is easy to notice is the fact that with each new major region that arrives, the Archon Quests have become increasingly larger. At the moment, the longest Chapter was the whole Sumeru arc which, according to the chart, takes around 14 hours to complete assuming that players don’t need to repeat any of its parts.Genshin Impact’s Act V of Chapter III which is named Akasha Pulses, The Kalpa Flame Rises was the by far the longest act in the game as it takes players around 3 hours and 50 minutes to complete.
Many fans in the comment section claim that HoYoverse should’ve divided Act V into two parts. The chart also revealed that the Prologue Chapter is by far the longest which makes sense since the game quickly transitioned to Liyue and Chapter I. Many players expect HoYoverse to give their first region Mondstadt a completely new story chapter whose length can compete with the others. Some fans hope thatGenshin Impact’s main storylinecould return to the Anemo region once the Natlan and Snezhnaya arcs wrap up.
Over the last couple of months, severalleaks have been hinting at a Mondstadt expansionwhich would expand the whole region to the north. At the moment, it is by far the smallest region in the game, and it’s safe to assume that HoYoverse will add additional subregions that belong to Mondstadt.
Manylegendary characters that belong to this region like Varka or Aliceare yet to make an official in-game appearance. When it comes to the Fontaine Archon Chapter, the first two acts have been longer than Sumeru’s starting acts which could mean that this storyline could surpass the length of Sumeru’s Chapter III.
