Best Light Cone
Back to All Characters
Among the several characters that were tested in the CBT ofHonkai: Star Rail, Blade was one of them. He’s aWind character who follows the Path of Destructionand is associated with the Stellaron Hunter. In battle, he plays around sacrificing his health, and his multipliers all scale with ATK and HP, although there’s a greater emphasis on HP.

Because he benefits more from HP than ATK, Light Cones that boost ATK aren’t entirely optimal for him, and he would be better off with a simple DMG booster. Sadly, since there aren’t many weapons that fulfill this condition, players may end up having to use the typical ATK-enhancing equipment instead. To better understand thebest Light Cone for BladeinHonkai: Star Rail, here’s a brief ranking players can refer to.

S1 Passive
When the wearer uses Basic ATK, Skill, or Ultimate to attack enemies, the wearer gains one stack of Mischievous. Each stack increases the wearer’s ATK by 12%.
When the Destruction character who wields The Moles Welcome You Light Cone attacks with either their Basic ATK, Skill, or Ultimate, they will get one stack buff. However, each one of those three attacks separately grants a stack. So, if players use Blade’s Basic ATK twice, it will only generate one stack.

Additionally, since Blade doesn’t have an attack on his Skill, he can only generate two stacks from The Moles Welcome You Light Cone. Because he doesn’t need ATK and can’t fully utilize this weapon, the Light Cone ranks at the bottom compared to the other options.

Increases the wearer’s ATK by 24%. Whenever the wearer defeats an enemy, they restore HP equal to 12% of their ATK.

As a 4-star Light Cone, Nowhere to Run enjoys an enormous pool of Base ATK, which is further boosted by its passive. The amount of ATK% this Light Cone gives iscomparable to 5-star Light Cones inHonkai: Star Rail. However, Blade doesn’t fully depend on ATK to deal damage, making Nowhere to Run Light Cone decent but not fully recommended.

Increases the wearer’s ATK by 16%. When the wearer defeats an enemy, the wearer’s CRIT Rate increases by 12% for 3 turns.
Under the Blue Sky may look like a simple 4-star Light Cone, but it carries a lot of benefits for Blade. While the ATK% the Light Cone grants from its passive isn’t his main focus, the Crit Rate increase is alwaysbeneficial for any DPS inHonkai: Star Rail.

Increases the wearer’s ATK by 24%. When the wearer defeats an enemy or is hit, immediately restores HP equal to 8% of the wearer’s ATK. At the same time, the wearer’s damage increases by 24% until the end of their next turn. This effect cannot stack and can only trigger 1 time per turn.

Something Irreplaceable is sadly somewhat replaceable for Blade, but it’s still a great weapon. It gives ATK%, DMG bonus, and minor healing. As a unit that plays around HP, the little recovery will minorly increase his survivability, the DMG bonus isundoubtedly handy since it increases all kinds of damage, while the ATK% boost, even though not fully beneficial, is still decent since his hit scales with ATK to an extent.
S5 Passive
Whenever the wearer attacks, their ATK is increased by 16% in this battle. This effect can stack up to 4 times. When the wearer inflicts Weakness Break on enemies, the wearer’s DMG increases by 24% for 2 turns.
Another Light Cone that’s good but not that good for Blade is On the Fall of an Aeon. Thisfree Simulated Universe weapon is great for ATK-scaling units, but since Blade benefits more from HP than ATK, this Light Cone falls short compared to those that give a simple DMG bonus. Fortunately, this Light Cone also increases Blade’s DMG, although it requires him to inflict Weakness Break on enemies first.

If the wearer’s current HP is lower than 80%, CRIT Rate increases by 24%.
Mutual Demise is a decentF2P choice for Blade inHonkai: Star Rail. The weapon grants him a 24% Crit Rate when his HP falls below 80%, which is extremely easy considering Blade sacrifices his HP when using his Skill. The only negative is the low stats he’ll get from that 3-star Light Cone.
Increases DMG dealt by the wearer by 20%. The wearer also deals an extra 20% of DMG to enemies with a higher HP percentage than the wearer.
Without a doubt, A Secret Vow is an excellent Light Cone for Blade inHonkai: Star Rail. Even as a 4-star Light Cone, A Secret Vow’s stats are gathered all on its Base HP and Base ATK, perfect for Blade’s needs. On top of that, the weapon’s passive can grant Blade up to a whopping 80% damage increase.

It’s crucial for Blade’s weapon to give him a straight damage buff instead of ATK as he benefits more from HP, and this Light Cone provides just that.
1270
Increase the wearer’s CRIT Rate and Max HP by 18%. After the wearer is attacked or consumes their own HP, increases the wearer’s DMG by 24%. This effect is dispelled after the user uses an attack.
Of course, The Unreachable Side Light Cone performs the best in the hands of Blade inHonkai: Star Rail. As Blade’s best-in-slot Light Cone, The Unreachable Side gives Blade precisely what he needs, more HP, more ATK, and morepure damage on his attacks and follow-up attacks.
Honkai: Star Railis now available on Android, iOS, and PC. A PlayStation version is in development.
