Honkai: Star Railhas released an official trailer for one of their upcoming five-star characters, the popular Wind user known as Blade. This character has made multiple appearances during version 1.0 where he was introduced as an NPC. The game keeps expanding their playable roster and it seems like each new update introduces multiple five-star and four-star units.
Phase 2 of the ongoing banner has introduced two new characters, a five-star named Luocha and a four-star unit known as Yugong. Both of these characters use the same combat type, Imaginary. With their banner scheduled to end on July 18,Honkai: Star Railhas been slowly introducing the characters that will take their place.

Honkai: Star Rail’s official YouTube channel has released a new trailer named “Death Approaches” which serves as a promo video for one of the upcoming five-star characters known as Blade. He has been one of the most anticipated characters in the community since his first in-game appearance back in 1.0. There is a lot of mystery surrounding this character and players hope that the upcoming storyline will dive deeper in his lore. When it comes to his play style, he is expected to be one of thebest main DPS characters inHonkai: Star Railwho can fit multiple team compositions.
The fact thatBlade follows the path of Destructionmeans that Blade will probably be a high-risk and high-reward character which means that while his play style is flexible, players will still need to surround him with a decent supporting staff. His kit revolves around dealing massive amounts of damage while also having a powerful self-heal that provides much-needed sustain. Blade’s skill makes him consume 30% of his max. HP to enter the Hellscape state which grants various damage buffs.
While Hellscape is active,Blade’s Basic Attacks will consume an additional 10% of his max. HPand deal single-target damage that scales with his Attack and max. HP stat. These attacks will also deal a lower amount of damage to adjacent enemies. Blade’s Ultimate, Death Sentence, will set Blade’s health to 50% of his max.
HP and it will deal dons of Wind damage to one enemy that has a similar scaling to his basic Hellscape attacks. A lot of fans claim that new and inexperienced players should probably avoid pulling for Blade since his kit involves a lot of HP and utility management. Instead, they can wait for the second part of the upcomingHonkai: Star Railversion 1.2 and pull foranother five-star character named Kafka.
Honkai: Star Railis available now for PC and mobile devices. PS4 and PS5 versions are in development.
