Summary
TheAssassin’s Creedfranchise is now one of the longest-running AAA franchises in gaming history, having released so many mainline entries in addition to a huge volume of spin-offs and alternate platform versions of their games. However, the open-world nature of these games means that often, players aren’t just looking to finish the story.
There are plenty of collectibles inAssassin’s Creedgames, and some of the more recent games even have a large variety of quests unrelated to the main narrative, due to taking on more of an RPG nature. Some games in the series don’t need much more effort to finish everything within them, but some take a vast amount of extra time to see everything.

Continuing the adventures of Ezio Auditore,Assassin’s Creed Brotherhoodhas Ezio form a united Brotherhood as he takes the fightto the dangerous Borgia family. The game is usually regarded as one of the bestAssassin’s Creedgames, but it also harbors some great difficulties when it comes to getting 100% completion.
Some examples of this include Multiplayer-specific missions likeOverachiever, which requires players to score 750 points or more on a single-kill in Multiplayer. This causes some issues, considering the Multiplayer mode is quite competitive, and now inactive. Even in the campaign, there are some difficulties, such asSerial Killer, which required an Execution Streak of 10 kills.

The final chapter in the Desmond Miles portion of the franchise,Assassin’s Creed 3has retrospectively been praised as one of the best entries to date. It was also the longest and largest game in the franchise when it was released in 2012, providing a huge open world betweenBoston, New York, and the American Frontierthat is filled with difficult achievements to complete.
Not only is there plenty of upgrading to do within the homestead, including theA Complete Setachievement, which requires all optional characters to be settled there. But other achievements areAn Extraordinary Man, which requires completion of the Encyclopedia of the Common Man, andPrince Of Thieves, which needs players to loot a convoy without killing any of the guards.

One of the most modern games in the franchise,Syndicatetakes place in London in themiddle of the 19th century. The adventures of Jacob and Evie Frye have been considered one of the lesser entries in the series, but there are plenty of amusing achievements that many gamers haven’t managed to collect, includingCerevisaphile, which players can only unlock by drinking every beer brand in the city.
Syndicatefeatures plenty of side content, like street races, and players must finish first in three different street races to get theA Quarter-Furlong At A Timetrophy.Guardian Angelmakes players escort ten friendly cargo shipments, while other hilariously fun achievements require players to kick fifty enemies off of trains.

Black Flagwas the direct sequel toAssassin’s Creed 3, and despite changing much of the style in this entry, there was just as much to try and unlock with the trophies.Sea LegsandKing Of The Castlerequire players to complete all naval contracts and capture all forts respectively.
Black Flagwas a huge shift in the level of freedom that players had. Not only could they explore Havana, Kingston, and Nassau, but there was also aSea of Thieves-stylewater traveling systemthat forced players to fully upgrade their ship and defeat all the legendary ships to get trophies such asDevil Of The Caribbean.

Unitywas a game that almost brought theAssassin’s Creedfranchise to ruin with a truly disastrous releasewhich made the game very difficult to play. But it was fixed with updates and is much more well-regarded by fans now, particularly by those who have gone through all the difficulty of unlocking every trophy in the game.
I Want It Allrequires players to complete every single-player mission in Paris andAn Old Internet Memecan only be unlocked by renovating every social club. However,Unitycomes with plenty of side content as well.Curiosityis unlocked when players open every chest in Paris, a feat that takes a great deal of time and added exploration. WhileVisited Onceneeds players to complete every co-op mission in the game, which can be incredibly tricky, especially today.

AfterSyndicate, Ubisoft decided to revamp theAssassin’s Creedgames and three of the four major releases since then have taken on more RPG elements.Words Of Wisdommakes players explore all hermit locations, andI Know My Landneeds the entire map defogged before it is achieved.
Being an RPG,Originshas a much longer general runtime than the previousAssassin’s Creedgames, but the challenges involved in some of the strange trophies are specific and frustrating to try and get. This includesOverheating, a trophy unlocked by seeing the correct mirage in the desert, something that can take a great deal of time and waiting, andOld Habits, which requires the player to complete every location in the huge game. Of course, some of the trophies are also on the more comedic side, likeSet-Up Date, which is unlocked after the player brings a tamed lion to a crocodile, which isn’t too difficult but can take players a lot of effort if they don’t normally use tamed lions.

AfterOrigins, theAssassin’s Creedteam decided they could go even bigger, andOdysseywas their next release. Set in Ancient Greece, the game features a mythological interpretation of a war between Athens and Sparta in huge detail. This includes unlocking trophies likeChild Of Poseidon, which makes players unlock all underwater locations, andHermes’s Homie, for which players must reveal all sub-regions of Greece.
An odd game in terms of the story, but beautifully told and with a huge open world, Ubisoft expanded withOdysseyupon the nature of an open-world RPG and used games likeSkyrimandThe Witcher 3as a template for themass volume of content that could be added. This includes some crazy trophies, likeInfamous, which is unlocked when players get their bounty to the maximum level, which obviously takes a great deal of added effort and can make moving around difficult. It also includesIsland Hopper, which forces players to complete a lot of extra quests on some of the most remote islands in the game, which is a lot of grinding work beyond the normal gameplay to get.

The longestAssassin’s Creedgame to date, and possibly the hardest 100% that will ever exist in the franchise, isAssassin’s Creed Valhalla. Featuring a vast amount of content, even simple achievements likeDisorder Of The Ancients, which makes players take out every target of the Order of the Ancients, can take a huge amount of time and work.
Set in the 9th century during the Viking invasion of Britain,Valhallagives players an almost unimaginable scope of freedombut does bog them down with a vast array of various trophies to unlock. This means that trying to 100% complete the game is one of the more brutal tasks a gamer can take on today. FromOld School Treasure Hunt, which is unlocked by collecting five treasure hoard rewards, toSkadi’s Hobby, which makes players slide 150 meters in the snow at once, a tricky job that requires a lot of trying and testing before players can succeed. From the lengthy to the challenging,Valhallais the complete package if players are looking for a new project to try and 100%.
