Choosing the right armor is crucial, and understanding armor tiers will make you a more knowledgeable soldier.Gray Zone Warfareuses the National Institute of Justice (NIJ) standard to classify armor effectiveness. This system rates armor based on the types of ammunition it can stop. Here’s a breakdown of the armor types you’ll encounter:
Level IIA is practically the same as Level II, but it will be slightly worse, so if possible, choose the second option. Similarly, some armor may also have a plus sign, which means that it has a small upgrade. However, even if you have Level IIA+ armor, it will still be worse than Level II.

One of the most important is which parts of the body your armor covers. For this purpose, an FBS system classifies which areas your armor protects, namely front, back, and sides.
