WB Games Montreal released a new update forGotham Knightsacross consoles and PC, addressing several technical issues found throughout the game.Gotham Knightsplayers on consoles are encouraged to install the latest update to make use of new features that were originally planned for the game’s launch.

Gotham Knightsis the second DC Comics game developed by WB Games Montreal after 2013’sBatman: Arkham Origins. Gotham City is plagued by villainy following the deaths of Batman and Commissioner James Gordon inGotham Knights. Players assume the roles of Nightwing, Red Hood, Batgirl, and Robin to protect Gotham City and its people. Many of the city’s most notorious villains appear, but the most prominent threat of them is the Court of Owls. Overall player reception is mixed due toGotham Knights’technical issuesand narrative problems, but a brand-new update appears to address some of the game’s most glaring bugs.

WB Games Montreal announced a new update is now live forGotham Knightswith new controller-based features for the console versions and several bug fixes for the PC version. PlayStation 5 players may use prominent DualSense features like haptic feedback and adaptive triggers while playingGotham Knights. For example, players may feel tension in the DualSense’s adaptive triggers while using Precision Aim or driving the Batcycle. Additionally, the new update adjusts controller rumble support for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. After installing the update, console players should feel more precise rumbling from their controllers while traversing with the Batcycle and grappling.

The newGotham Knightsupdate brings a plethora of bug fixes to the PC version including fixes for issues causing game crashes, missing sound effects, graphical artifacts, and user interface bugs. As a result, the PC version should have less CPU and GPU-related issues from post-processing options and asset rendering. A GPU driver check option is now available as well, allowing players to check if their Intel, AMD, or Nvidia drivers are up-to-date and working withinGotham Knightsfor PC.

The PC version needed multiple technical updates followingGotham Knights' troubled launchthis past October, and more updates will likely come after this most recent one. This new update also addressed the lack of DualSense features found inGotham Knights, which should have been present at launch.
