Wind Shrine Armor Sets in Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut

There are four Wind Shrines inGhost of Tsushima, each of which reward Jin with a new skin for an armor set he should already have. These skins are very special, as they each represent a specific game from PlayStation. This should not be surprising, as Sucker Punch is part of the PlayStation Studios family.

Armor of the Colossus - Shadow of the Colossus Armor

Sarugami Armor

Players who are looking for a way to take the Perfect Parry and Perfect Dodge systems to new heights need look no further than the Sarugami armor. This set is found through the process of completing the ‘Legend of Black Hand Riku’ Mythic Tale. Follow Iki Islands main story through ‘A Raider’s Return.’ This will open up Fune’s Refuge, and reveal the hideout’s Mythic Tale.

Sakai Horse Armor

While some may scoff at including horse armor in this list of all Iki Island armor sets, the reasons for its inclusion will become abundantly clear once the benefits are revealed. Unlike the horse equipment found in the base game, the Sakai Horse Armor offers perks in the same way as Jin’s armor sets. These skills are incredibly powerful, and will go a long way towards making the Ghost as close to unstoppable as possible.

The Sakai Horse Armor is the reward for completing the ‘Legacy of Kazumasa Sakai’ Mythic Tale. To start this tale, head to Kasho Bay on the east coast of Iki Island. It is possible to reveal the quest marker by talking to various civilians, though it is not necessary to do so. You can head straight there and begin the quest the moment you have free rein to explore Iki Island.

Keep in mind, if you visit Kasho Bay after completing ‘Massacre at Kidafure Village,’ you will want to refrain from wearing the Sakai Clan Armor with its original clan markings. The various inhabitants will all make a run for it as you approach. Wear any other armor - or the Jin from Yarikawa skin - to prevent this from happening.

This marks the final piece of armor Jin will find on Iki Island. There are several headbands, masks and sword kits still available.
