AGenshin Impactchart shows how well the ongoing Hu Tao and Yelan double banner is doing when it comes to revenue. Every update in the game features two banner cycles that include one or two five-star units and three four-star characters. The five-star characters are much harder to obtain as they run on a 90-wish pity system while four-stars have a 10-wish pity.
The first part of the ongoing update 3.4 has introduced two newGenshin Impactcharacters named Alhaitham and Yaoyao. The ongoing second banner cycle for 3.4 features two very popular Liyue characters, Hu Tao and Yelan. Players who want to add them to their roster have a couple of days to do so as their banner is scheduled to expire at the end of the month.

AGenshin Impactchart reveals that the ongoing double banner has the potential to break the game’s overall salesrecord which is currently held by Raiden Shogun and Ayatowho were featured in the second part of the previous update 3.3. The post shows that the ongoing banner has approximately 15% more sales than the current record holder had 10 days after they joined the live servers. Many fans claim that if HoYoverse does not release an unexpected character announcement in the upcoming days, Hu Tao’s and Yelan’s double banner will be the by far most successful one in the game’s history.
However, it should be noted that the numbers in the chart only represent data from iOS devices from the Chinese server which means that the overall sales are even higher. Some players even claim that the fact thatGenshin Impactconfirmed Dehya’s arrival on the Standard Bannerwill probably make even more players spend their Primogems on Yelan and Hu Tao. Both of these characters are considered S-tier units in their respective roles.
Hu Tao is one of thestrongest DPS characters inGenshin Impactwho has not been featured on a banner since November 2021. She has a unique play style that requires players to keep track of her HP in order to deal the maximum amount of damage. The Hydro user Yelan is an off-field Hydro support that can deal tons of damage even when she gets swapped out.
This makes her the go-to choice for many team compositions that rely on an elemental reaction that needs strong Hydro application. ThisGenshin Impactbanner also includes a decent four-star lineupwhich consists of three characters: Xingqiu, Ningguang, and Beidou.
