AGenshin Impactchart shows the most popular team compositions in the current version of the Spiral Abyss for update 3.6. This special type of domain is probably the hardest piece of content in the game, especially for newer players. It consists of 12 floors, each of which has two or three chambers that feature different types of enemies.
TheGenshin ImpactSpiral Abyss enemy lineups change approximately every two weeks and a new set of opponents take the stage. This means that players need to constantly adjust their team compositions in order to take advantage of the enemy’s weaknesses. For example, if a chamber features Cryo Abyss Mages, Travelers should have at least one Pyro character in their team to break their elemental shields.

Reddit user LvlUrArti has posted a couple of chartsthat show the most used team compositions in the last two floors of the current version of the Spiral Abyss. The post has two different charts that rank the parties by different criteria. The most popular team comp in the first half of the 12th floor based on usage rate for players that have the required characters in their roster is the Hyperbloom team composition that features Alhaitham, Yelan, Nahida, and Kuki Shinobu.Hyperbloom is considered a sub-reactionas it can be triggered by applying Electro damage to a Dendro core. This means that players need to have three elements in their party: Hydro, Dendro, and Electro. This elemental reaction transforms the Dendro Core into a Sprawling Shot that attacks the closest enemy and deals AoE Dendro damage.
Following the same criteria, the most used team composition for the second half of the 12th floor isthe popular Freeze partythat features characters like Kamisato Ayaka, Sangonomiya Kokomi, Kaedehara Kazuha, and Shenhe. All of these characters are considered S-tier five-star units in their respective roles. Combining Kokomi’s Hydro with Ayaka’s and Shenhe’s Cryo element will temporarily immobilize enemies. Kazuha’s main job is to group enemies and shred their resistance as much as possible.
Overall the most used team composition by raw numbers in both parts of the 12th floor is the Raiden National party. This team compositionfeatures the Electro Archon Raiden Shogunand three four-star characters, Bennet, Xiangling, and Xingqiu. It’s considered one of the best team compositions in the game thanks to the ability to effectively defeat almost any enemy in the game.
Another reason why this team composition is so popular is the fact that all ofGenshn Impact’s four-star charactersare free-to-play friendly due to their lower rarity. Even the Electro Archon can dish out tons of damage when she’s on her C0 level.
