The video begins with Kratos pummeling an enemy, causing Mimir’s head to shake violently. The following few seconds show Mimir’s point of view, where he sees the surroundings go haywire and rotate in random directions. After this, Kratos and Freya admire apicturesque landscape inGod of War Ragnarokwith a mountain and a water body. Freya says the aforementioned location is “beautiful” when the camera shows Mimir’s view, which only has a few plants and stones.

The final sections of the video have similar instances fromGod of War Ragnarok, where Kratos is running. At the same time, Mimir’s world appears to be shaking like an earthquake. Ayrarnunes’s video only shows a small glimpse what Mimir would have seen during his time with Kratos and Atreus in theGod of Warseries. Even though the awkward position might obscure his view, he has been an omnipresent ally to Kratos, guiding him and providing valuable advice when necessary.

Many players don’t know thatMimir fromGod of War Ragnarokis regarded as one of the wisest people in the game. He had close ties with the Aesir before Odin imprisoned him more than 100 years ago, before Kratos freed him. Mimir asks Kratos to behead him and take him to someone well-versed in Old Magic, who happens to be Freya. Freya ultimately does what’s needed and revives the severed head.
