Summary

A fan ofFalloutand LEGOs has put together a Red Rocket Gas Station in brick form. TheFalloutbuild looks quite impressive and includes some custom touches that make it the fan’s own.

While not as quite a stand-out asFalloutuniverse brand icons like Pip-Boy or Nuka-Cola, fans of the later games in the series will recognize this iconic shop. ThePre-War Red Rocket stationscan be found throughoutFallout 3,4, and multiplayer online gameFallout 76. The place is iconic enough that it was even featured briefly in Amazon Prime’s recentFalloutTV series, introducing it to a whole new group of fans for the first time. It seems that fans enjoy this particular business landmark, and at least one fan has taken it upon themselves to build it from the brick up.

Fallout 4 Tag Page Cover Art

Falloutfan SurviveOrDie84 shared their creation with the series' subreddit, detailed in several photos. The Red Rocket gas station has been recreated in impressive detail, down to the tilted overhang and decaying store sign. While there are some stylistic changes, it looks like this was based upon the design of the Red Rocket gas station nearSanctuary Hills inFallout 4, or the one that recently appeared in theFalloutTV series, which bore a strong resemblance to the in-game counterpart.

Finishing off the design is a pair of minifigs based on the Vault Dwellers, who look like they’re about to have a bad time, based on their company. TwoPower Armor-wearing minifigs are standing off to the left, while a Deathclaw is lurking off to the right. While the Vault Dwellers look to be well-equipped, dealing with either or all of these combatants would pose a challenge for many fans.

How Was the Fallout LEGO Build Created?

According to SurviveOrDie84, they got the instructions to make this particular build fromRebrickable, a resource for fans to share designs that can be made with leftover bricks or partial LEGO sets. While the player didn’t specify, it looks like they based their build on Dream Build Bricks’s design, which calls for nearly 2000 parts. This doesn’t include some special touches that SurviveOrDie84 added to their ownLEGO build. The LEGO build directions state that this is a fairly complex build to attempt, suggesting that only those with several years of experience attempt it.

For many fans, part of the charm of LEGO is that building just about anything becomes possible with the right pieces and ingenuity. However, many fans would likely enjoy seeing an officialFalloutLEGO set become a reality. There’s no telling if a partnership will ever arise between the two brands, butLEGO has partnered with many games, so it’s not impossible.
