There is a wide selection of Exosuits to choose from in Capcom’sExoprimal, each with its own unique abilities to enable players to stay true to their gaming and strategic play styles. Broken up into three different classes — Assault, Tank, and Support — there is something for everyone in the dinosaur survival game from the makers of theStreet Fighterfranchise.
Each Exosuit is equipped with a number of abilities and skills to help give them an edge over the dinosaur threat, as well as players on the opposing team looking to complete the objectives of the war games first. The most prevalent of these inExoprimalis the Overdrive Ability, which is the most powerful use of an Exosuit’s skills and showcases its style in a spectacular way. Each suit has its own strengths and weaknesses, but which Overdrive Ability does justice to its user best?

10Limiter Override (Zephyr)
Zephyr is known for its agility, speed, and lightning-fast melee attacks. The quickest of the Exosuits, it uses its twin blades to wipe out dinosaurs in quick succession. With its Overdrive ability, Zephyr can reach its full potential in speed and attacking prowess.

The Limiter Overfide ability removes the restrictions on Zephyr’s boost gears, allowing it to unleash a barrage that reflects its highest level of combat performance. During this period, attack cooldown times are temporarily reduced, allowing for faster combos and to provide Zephyr with a clean bill of health.
9Meikyo Shisui (Murasame)
The melee-inclined TankExosuit Murasame uses a great samurai sword to cleave and hack at enemy dinosaurs and Exosuits alike. With its Meikyo Shisui ability, players can harness the suit’s full offensive potential.
The Meikyo Shisui ability, which translates to “clear water,” prompts Murasame to deliver a barrage of rapid slashes with its blade. When coming face-to-face with larger foes, Murasame can produce an even more powerful attack by charging the ability before unleashing it.

8Barrel Breaker (Vigilant)
The standalone long-range expert inExoprimal, the Vigilant Exosuit does its best workby picking off dinosaurs and Exosuits alike using a range of powerful long-distance attacks. With its Barrel Breaker ability, Vigilant’s power is on full display, delivering shots that are both quick and devastating.
The Barrel Breaker ability converts all of Vigilant’s accumulated Hi-Xol into sniper rifle energy, enabling it to do more damage with each projectile. It also affects the cooldown time between shots, turning its primary weapon into a highly-charged rail gun.

7Todesregen (Krieger)
Todesregen is German for “rain of death,” which could not be more appropriate when talking about the Krieger Exosuit’s attacking style. Using a heavy machine gun as its primary weapon, it is no surprise that its most powerful offensive weapon is explosive and spectacular.

The Todesregen ability uses a laser to take aim at a target, before releasing a bombardment of explosives in the area that seeks to wipe out any targets in its blast radius. Effective forlarge groups or just large dinosaurs, this is a great Overdrive Ability for any situation.
6De-Synchronize (Skywave)
Skywave’s abilities seek to hinder the progress of its opposition and open opportunities for its teammates to deliver the knockout blow. Using its visually impressive Overdrive Ability, the Support Exosuit can bend time and turn the tide of a battle.
Using its De-Synchronize ability, Skywave creates a significant gravity well, which affects the flow of space-time and brings enemies to a standstill. This is a terrific ability to use when in the company of offensive-minded suits as it leaves opponents stuck and ready to be wiped out.

5Cluster Salvo (Deadeye)
Representing the Assault classin its very basic but effective form, Deadeye is the perfect choice for fans of shooting games that just enjoy aiming down a gun’s sights and picking off opponents with a rain of bullets. With its Overdrive ability, Deadeye unleashes the full fury of its significant arsenal.
The Cluster Salvo ability enables Deadeye to deploy multiple heavy weapons built into its armor that unleashes an overwhelming spray of projectiles in front of it. During this storm of gunfire, players can move from side to side and collect as many victims as possible.

4Storm Drive (Roadblock)
Much like its Tank counterpart Murasame, the RoadblockExosuit is best used at close range. However, much of its attack makes use of a heavy shield, which can absorb damage before blasting enemies away. Roadblock packs an incredible amount of raw power, which is evident in its Storm Drive ability.
The Storm Drive prompts Roadblock to rapidly pirouette, forming a sudden cyclone that collects any small dinosaurs in its reach. With one button input, players can launch this tornado away, taking with it all the threats in close range. This is a solid Overdrive Ability as it delivers plenty of hurt on enemies whilst also creating space.

3Burning Heart (Barrage)
The explosive Barrage Exosuit appears to pay homage to more than one Marvel hero in its appearance and Overdrive ability. With a flaming head that resembles Ghost Rider, Barrage does its best Human Torch impression with an incredibly powerful attack that has little regard for the health of the Exosuit or its foes.

Barrage removes its own armor and ignites its Hi-Xol, turning the suit into a ball of flame that is rigged to explode in an instant. Likening itself to a missile, Barrage throws itself at its target and explodes, damaging itself and everyone in the blast radius.
2Antipode Burst (Nimbus)
Despite being a member of the typically less-aggressive Support class, Nimbus is a well-rounded Exosuit that can deliver a punchy offense, while still helping to keep the team alive. Using its interchangeable handguns to attack and heal its respective targets, itranks among the top Exosuits inExoprimal.
Using its Antipode Burst ability, Nimbus can simultaneously help teammates and hinder the progress of hostiles in one spectacular and explosive movement. This Overdrive Ability generates a shockwave of condensed energy, which provides additional health points to allies while throwing enemies into the air with a repelling blast.

1Vital Aura (Witchdoctor)
One of the most popular Exosuit choices inExoprimal, and one that frequents the MVP position at the end of a war game, the Witchdoctor is the go-to suit for players who want tokeep their teammates in tip-top shape. Using its healing abilities, it can amass serious point totals without so much as an eye-poke on the incoming dinosaur threat.
The Witchdoctor’s Vital Aura ability is the epitome of Exosuit restoration and is a welcome protective boost to all affected. The ability enables the Witchdoctor to release a huge amount of Hi-Xol, which restores ally health in its entirety, as well as providing a defensive boost. To add insult to injury, it also puts temporary limitations on the maneuverability of enemies.

Exoprimalis now available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
