Elden Ringplayers have been busy making all sorts of characters, including the Wicked Witch ofTheWizard of Oz. One particularElden Ringplayer gave their own spin to the iconic villain that strongly resembles her classic depiction from the beloved film.
SomeElden Ringusers have managed to take their favorite comic book ormovie heroes like Spawnand put them into the game. But more often than not, movie characters, including those from some of the older movies around have been popped into the game. The newest creation could actually be one of the oldest callbacks when it comes to the character it was based on.

Reddit user MattyByNature recently took to the social media site to show off what they had made withElden Ring’s immersive character creator. Using the iconic line from the movie, “I’ll get you, my pretty, and your little dog too,” they showed off a character that had the same green skin as the witch who was played by Margaret Hamilton in the old film.
The user posted a series of photos showing off the Wicked Witch with one photo a full frontal shot of the face, as well as a kind of profile picture with the head slightly tilted looking off a bit into the distance. A third picture showed the witch was ready for battle, wearing a brown leather cloak and holding a couple of weapons thatWizard of Ozfans certainly wouldn’t recognize. The fourth picture might have been the most impressive, considering it showed the character standing in a wooded area with what looked quite a bit like one of her flying monkeys.
The character creator has played a rather large part in thepopularity ofElden Ringsince it was first released, and MattyByNature’s creation showed that off again. There have been plenty of other users who have managed to make their individual heroes look like the spitting images of characters from all different walks of life.
While some have made the argument that there are ways toimprove theElden Ringcharacter creator, it’s hard to deny that the tool has allowed people to put their own spin on whoever they want to play as in the game. Considering that more than a few Reddit users picked up on who the creation was supposed to be, and even played into it with comments that were simple yet obvious like, “wicked,” it’s clear the user accomplished their goal. The Wicked Witch fromThe Wizard of Ozwas born again, in some fashion, inElden Ring.
