TheElden Ringcommunity shows off its creativity once again as one fan is able to create Malenia, Blade of Miquella, inFortnite’s Creative Mode. Players of passionate communities enjoy paying homage to the games they love, likeElden Ring, which has a still-thriving community nearly a year after its release. As the mediums that give players the ability to create expand with better features and higher freedom, the more these communities prosper.FortniteCreative Mode is one such medium, giving players the freedom to create art and content using the game’s many assets.

Malenia, Blade of Miquella is one ofElden Ring’s most iconic bosses. Her notoriety comes from her difficulty, which players are still arguing about whether they consider her to be a fair boss fight or not. Even to this day, fans are still postingguides to dodge some of Malenia’s toughest attacks, as each of them are so coordinated and relentless that a player could feel overwhelmed by just one volley of her slices.

Fortnite’s Creative Mode, which recently gotJunji Ito content added to it, has allowed oneElden Ring fan to recreate the famed boss fight in it. In a video posted to r/Eldenring by user MrEIectric, they first show them putting the finishing touches on the display of Malenia in creative mode. Then, the video moves along to a full showcase of the model, a stunning replica of Malenia in her Goddess of Rot phase, with dynamic shots showing off the model’s details close up, from her wings to her body, to the blade in her hand, all the while Malenia’s boss theme plays in the background. While many users commended the creator for the near-perfect replica of Malenia in her Goddess of Rot form, there were also users that pointed out some of the inaccuracies to Malenia’s actual model inElden Ring. The one created inFortnitedoes resemble the height of the original, asMalenia has been found to be even taller than Sephiroth, there are some noted discrepancies in how the body was made, as Malenia has a bulkier shape compared to the one that the OP created.

Despite the slight differences between the models, this just goes to show that the creativity of a passionate community is limitless, and there is no medium in which they won’t try to create art. Recently,Elden Ringwas reported to cross 20 million copies sold, and thus the community it’s fostering continues to grow. As time goes on, and as more content is added toElden Ring, there is sure to be more places to find art created, whether it’s the simple pen on paper orFortnite’s Creative Mode.
