Elden Ringfan arts are becoming increasingly popular since the game was released two months ago. The popular FromSoftware title has a growing fanbase consisting of many talented artists who have regularly come up with spectacular artworks.
Most of these fan art pieces are centered aroundElden Ring’s various characters, including NPCs and the game’s several exciting bosses. ManyElden Ringbosses have developed a dedicated fanbase over time, most famously Malenia. One viralElden Ringfan art shows a mech version of Maleniain a futuristic setting instead of the game’s fantasy world.

Following the example of such artists, anotherElden Ringplayer took the initiative to display their creative skills. Reddit user Frostdice66 created a fan art depicting a relatively lesser-knownElden Ringboss, Maliketh. Interestingly, the user built upon the work of a fellowElden Ringfan artist, Bossxie, by transforming their creation into a live wallpaper. Frostdice66’s version of Maliketh is a digitally designed artwork that shows stunning animations. Oddly, the animation shows Maliketh’s hair growing endlessly, which garnered mixed feelings from the Reddit community. Some Redditors suggested the user should’ve let the hair wave instead of growing eternally.
For those who don’t know, Maliketh is one of the mandatorybosses inElden Ring, meaning players need to defeat it to progress in the game. Maliketh is a Legend-type boss known as The Black Blade and is the guardian of the Rune of Death. Maliketh is the half-brother of Queen Marika and can be found in the Crumbling Farum Azula region, which can be accessed via Site of Grace at the Forge of the Giants in Mountaintops of the Giants. Players are transported to Leyndell, Ashen Capital, upon defeating Maliketh.
Elden Ringplayers use multiple strategies to vanquish Maliketh to advance in the game. These include using a shield to block its projectile, shockwave attacks, and light dagger attacks. Many gamers struggle to heal themselves as Maliketh is known for punishing them by throwing rocks or stabbing them. Most players are usually successful, while, for some people,Maliketh’s boss fight ends in a disaster.
Unlike the above-mentioned Maliketh fan art, some artists take it a step further by creating combination art pieces by mergingElden Ringand other fictional and non-fictional entities. Many such fan arts have gone viral, like the hilariousElden Ringfan art combining Ranni and Danny DeVito, while another one shows a unique mixture of Malenia and Princess Zelda.
Elden Ringis available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
