Go to Vernworth Castle Between Midnight and Dawn

The first step toward completing thisDragon’s Dogma 2quest is entering Vernworth Castle between midnight and dawn, and players can easily reach a suitable time bysleeping at the innin Vernworth until nightfall. Alternatively, fans can achieve a similar effect bydozing on one of the benchesin town, and that approach has the added benefit of being free.

Approach Allard’s Chambers

Upon entering Vernworth Castle, players should make their way to thesecond floorand approach Allard’s chambers. This action will trigger a short cutscene, in which Allard has a conversation with a guard, and fans will be free to enter his room upon its conclusion.

The in-game waypoint can be a bit confusing during this portion of the quest, and it may result in players searching the Magistrate’s Office in an attempt to advance An Unsettling Encounter. After collecting the letter, and watching a short cutscene, players should exit Vernowrth Castle, via a window in Allard’s chambers, and make their way toward Captain Brant at thetaverninDragon Dogma 2’s Vernworth. Along the way, fans will encounter Wilhelmina, and she will provide them with aMyrmecoleon CardPlayers will also receive 1,200 XP, 5,500 G, and aRing of Accrualonce they finally show the Battahli-Crested Letter to Brant, as those act as rewards for completing An Unsettling Encounter.
