During any battle, press and hold both trigger buttons on the controller and select “Super Saiyan” to transform, then fight the enemy until the Tension gauge in the bottom-right is completely full. Afterwards, charge the blue Ki meter by pressing the Y-button on Xbox or the Triangle-button on PS4, which initiates the Surge mode once full. After entering the surge mode, all players have to do is finish off the enemy with a special attack.

If done correctly, the final attack will trigger a short cutscene where the opponent will be defeated in a flashy cinematic style, unlocking aBronze trophy or achievementcalled Flashy Finish that also award 15 gamerscore. It’s important to note that the Surge mode is limited and players need to trigger it once the opponent is at low health; otherwise, it’s possible to mess up the final blow.
