Gardening is a major part of theDisney Dreamlight Valleyexperience, as players will find themselves needing ingredients they’ve grown toprepare mealsto restore energy and give to their fellow villagers. Additionally, players will occasionally receive quest objectives requiring them to plant, nurture and harvest vegetables, and others that require the player to utilize vegetables they have already grown.
Gardening inDreamlight Valleyis pretty simple: obtain seeds, dig a hole, plant the seed, water the seed as much as needed, thenharvest the fully grown vegetable. Each seed has a specific requirement of how many times it must be watered and how long it will take before it is fully grown. The player can speed this process up by 10% by planting crops in the same biome in which they purchased the seeds. There is, however, a method that players can use to cause crops to grow instantly.
Miracle Growth ElixirandEven More Miraculous Growth Elixirare two unique consumables that players can craft at any crafting station inDisney Dreamlight Valley. They are part of an assortment of potions that players can craft and use to temporarily improve the ability of their Royal Tools. Players will unlock the recipe to craft the Miracle Growth Elixir during the quest “Nature & Nurture,” in which players unlockThe Lion King’s Scar. What Does Miracle Growth Elixir Do?
When used, theMiracle Growth Elixirtemporarily enchants the player’sRoyal Watering Can. The Miracle Growth Elixir makes it so that any dry crops watered using the enchanted Watering Can will mature immediately, allowing the player to harvest the planted crops, bypassing the seed’snormal growth time and watering requirements.
The Miracle Growth Elixir requires fewer materials to craft but has a more limited effect. The smaller of the two potions will, when applied to the Royal Watering Can, cause thenext 20 crops wateredto mature instantly.The Even More Miraculous Growth Elixirwill work on50 crops totalbefore its effect fades.
Utilizing these potions can be helpful for quickly maturing profitable crops that have long growing cycles, such as Pumpkins, to earn some fast Star Coins. They can also be extremely helpful to use on crops the player is required to plant and harvest to complete specific quests, including “A Garden in the Desert” and “Dreamlight Day.”
Once an Elixir has been used to temporarily buff a Royal Tool, the effect will remain active until all charges have been consumed. While under the effect of the elixir, the Royal Tool will emit a sparkling blue glow, and the glow will fade once its charges have been expended. There is no way to toggle its functionality so that it will only use charges when the player wants it to.
How to Make Miracle Growth Elixir and Even More Miraculous Growth Elixir
TheMiracle Growth ElixirandEven More Miraculous Growth Elixir, like all other Royal Tool buff potions, require the player to head to Vitalys Mine andcollect Vitalys Crystalfrom the glowing mineral veins found throughout the Mine. These elixirs also require the player to collectRich SoilandDreamlight. The recipes for each are:
Even More Miraculous Growth Elixir
Players cangetRich Soilby harvesting grown crops. The easiest way to farm Rich Soil is to purchase Wheat Seeds from Goofy’s Stall in Peaceful Meadow, then plant and water the crops. Wheat is the cheapest and fastest growing vegetable in the game and after just a minute has passed, the player can harvest grown Wheat which will occasionally drop Rich Soil. Players who have purchased theA Rift in Timeexpansion can also obtain Rich Soil by clearing Rubble Piles once they have upgraded the Royal Shovel.
Dreamlightis earned bycompleting Dreamlight Duties, a rotating assortment of daily tasks. Players can check which tasks are currently available by viewing the “Dreamlight” category in the game menu. Dreamlight is also awarded by reaching specific benchmarks in duties that track the player’s progress cumulatively.
