The 21-year-old iconic action RPG is steadily releasing trailers for its various character classes to build up hype for its impending release, with the latest trailer showcasing the shapeshifting Druid.
Vicarious Visions' ambitious redux of Blizzard Entertainment’s legendaryDiablo 2releases in just a few short weeks. However, players who pre-ordered the game were recently given access to an early beat version of the title. The reception was reportedly largely positive, although the famously frustrating"Next Hit Always Misses" bughas found its way intoDiablo 2: Resurrected, something its executive producer is addressing.

Posted to the officialDiabloYouTube channel, theDiablo 2: ResurrectedDruid class trailer gives fans their first detailed look at the shapeshifting, nature-wielding keeper of the wilds. The first portion of the roughly 30-second trailer sees the Elemental magic wielder utilizing different types of earth, fire, and wind spells, which appear to be a mix of direct and area-of-effect attacks.
Halfway through, the Druid transforms into a werewolf, swiping at enemies with massive claws. The shapeshifter then turns into the iconic werebear soon after, instantly killing demons with its vicious bite and powerful arms. The end part shows the Druid fighting alongside various animal companions, one of the class’s signature abilities.
TheDiablo 2: ResurrectedDruid class trailer isn’t the only class that’s been showcased recently. Just days ago, the game released trailer for itsBarbarian and Sorceress classes. A fan-favorite class in theDiablofranchise, Barbarians are known for their brute strength and penchant for dual-wielding melee weapons, making them the ideal class for leading the charge. The Sorceress serves as a complementary foil to the Barbarian, who is weak in physical combat but deals devastating ranged magic attacks.
A lot of gamers, especially the more casualDiablofans, tend to confuse the Sorceress with the Druid class. WhileDiablo 2: Resurrected’s Druid and Sorceress classesshare the similarity of being Elemental magic users, the two classes differ in significant ways. The fragile but deadly Sorceress focuses purely on Elemental magic, wielding an arsenal of Lightning, Fire, and Cold spells from a distance. The Druid has a bit more versatile range of magical abilities, able to change into different forms with their shapeshifting abilities as well as the power to summon natural allies using Primal magic.
Diablo 2: Resurrectedhas now released trailers for four of its six classes, leaving only the Assassin and Necromancer left to be revealed.
