Called The Stranger edition, its main selling point is that those who buy it not only get a digital copy of theDestiny 2expansion, but a 10" statue of the mysterious Exo Stranger character, who appears to be making a return inBeyond Light, as she has so far only appeared in the first game.
What’s more, fans won’t just be getting the expansion, but it’s specifically the Digital Deluxe version, which will also come with the following:
Numskull has also launched a new range ofDestiny 2merchandise in addition to this, such as themed mugs and pin badges, as well as three additions to its Tubbz range - rubber ducks based on various iconic characters. Namely, they are the Stranger, the Drifter, and Saint-14.
The future plans Bungie has forDestiny 2have players excited, especially one in particular being centered aroundthe Witch Queen, a potential antagonist that has been mentioned numerous times throughoutDestiny 2.
There are also concerns, however, that Bungie’s future plans could have some sort of impact onits next major IP,Matter. At the time of writing, we know very little about it but, with the next few years to be spent on moreDestiny 2expansions,some can’t help wonder if Bungie even has the resources to focus on anything else exceptDestiny 2.
In other news, Bungie recently removed a bunch of content from the game in preparation for the new expansion, with plans to reintroduce it at some point in the future. There isa full list of what has been removedfor those who may have stepped away from the game for a while.
Destiny 2is available for PC, PlayStation 4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
