The PS5 is almost available, and with that launch comes the release of the highly-anticipatedDemon’s Souls. The Bluepoint Games remake of this classic FromSoftware game will launch in a few days, and now players have been given a better idea of what to expect fromDemon’s Soulsbased on its trophy list.
TheDemon’s Soulstrophy list is justone of many PS5 trophy liststhat are beginning to appear online, giving players time to prepare for the challenging tasks that will need to be completed if they want those coveted Platinums.Demon’s Souls’list is comprised of 37 trophies total, with a few basic multiplayer trophies and a large number of story-related trophies. Based on the descriptions, players will be awarded trophies for completing just about every mini-boss battle and full-fledged encounter in the game.

From Flamelurker to Dirty Colossusand every demon in between, players can expect to bring home a bronze trophy for each of the named foes they slay. More time-consuming trophies exist as well, including gold trophies that echo the ones achieved in the other Souls games. With “King of Rings” tasking players with unlocking each of the game’s rings, and “Saint’s Trophy” asking the same when it comes to miracles, the Platinum trophy for the game is sure to take some effort.
The trophy list also hassomeShadow of the Colossusremake vibes, which can be seen with trophies such as “One Shall Stand.” This silver trophy tasks players with killing the Adjucator demon “without having him fall down,” and is one of numerous challenge trophies that appear on the list. With players needing to “Vanquish the fools idol without hitting any clones," and earn another trophy by killing Dragon God a certain way, players will need to get creative if they intend to snag all the trophies.
It is unclear if these trophies will be missable or not. While one would assume killing a demon before these specific trophy requirements are met would lock a player out of the achievement for that playthrough, a special featurefrom the PS5’s UIcould eliminate this issue. Players may not need to start a fresh save ifDemon’s Soulsutilizes the system’s cards in a certain way, as the cards could allow players to jump straight into the boss fight where the trophies can be earned. Until more is known, however, players should attempt to keep these trophies in mind during the boss battles.
Regardless,Demon’s Soulsfeatures a solid trophy list with a good bit of challenge and variety. With no easy trophies for usingtheDemon’s Soulscharacter creator, this list is comprised completely of trophies that will take hard work and look great on any PlayStation player’s profile.
