One of the first tasks the player needs to accomplish in the mansion after leaving their personalized room made by Queen is to solve a light puzzle dealing with colorful spotlights shining onto the floor. The puzzles play out asmostUndertaleseries puzzlesdo; seemingly simple, but get harder as they persist.

Queen’s First Puzzle

The first puzzle is fairly simple, using three pieces and being made of Queen’s face. After some dialogue, the player can maneuver each of the three pieces through rotating where the light falls on the floor to fit the shape. Using the order of the switches, the first piece goes in the upper left-hand corner of the face. The second, smaller piece fits perfectly as Queen’s chin, and the last one makes up the right side of her face.

The Triangle Light Puzzle

This is where things get tricky for fans, but nowhere near asstressful and hard as Sans' fightin the first game’s Genocide route. Once again, using the order of the switches, the first piece fits in the upper right corner of the triangle once rotated. The second piece also clears a corner, as it can fit into the bottom point of the shape just fine.

Skipping the third piece, for now, the fourth piece can be adjusted to fit next to the first. With that in place, it exposes just where the pink, third light should go: the upper left-hand corner.

The Truth to Queen’s Final Light Puzzle

Lastly, the player will find a puzzle that doesn’t seem to make much sense at all, as none of the pieces match. While it may be tricky to some players, the mean-spirited Susieactually figures it out and tells Kris. “You just need to fill in the whole square thing, what if you just piled them all in the corners?” That’s the solution for the puzzle; meaning there are numerous answers depending on how players arrange the lights.

Using the side of the pieces to fit the corners will leave at least one piece left to fill in the whole square, completing it. The picture above can be used as a reference for fans.

With the puzzles complete, fans can enjoy more ofDeltaruneChapter 2’s story, and explore more of Queen’s interesting mansion. The next segment has players reunite with Ralsei, with many more combat and puzzles to experience as the episode of Undertale’s sequel still has a lot more to show afterward.
