Game Informermagazine’s latest issue featured an update onDeathloop,an upcoming shooter-puzzle hybrid from Arkane Studios that was delayed to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The piece, which included an official statement from a Bethesda spokesperson associated with the game, addressed a lingering question regarding whether fans could anticipate additionalDeathloopreleases beyond the promised PlayStation 5 version.

This resulted in speculation thatDeathloopmight see a release for the Xbox Series X and S consoles - and even that it might be transferred entirely from the PlayStation to the Xbox under Microsoft’s authority.
