Call of DutyZombiesplayers have shown off no shortage of amazing creations in the past, with the mode’s rabid fan base consistently sharing art pieces online. One of the most common routes artistic fans take is to make a weapon replica, and oneCall of DutyZombies player has done something truly special with the Wunderwaffe DG-2.
The Wunderwaffe DG-2 is the second Wonder Weapon ever, joiningthe Hellhound enemy typeand the moving mystery box as a defining feature of Shi No Numa, the third Zombies map. Created by former antagonist Dr. Edward Richtofen, the beloved gun’s unique ability saw it chaining lightning between hordes of the undead. However, the Wunderwaffe DG-2 was not just powerful, as the gun also boasted one of the most unique Wonder Weapon designs of all time.

Clearly a fan of the gun, the aptly named Reddit user wdg-2 has created a special replica of the weapon. While someexcellent Wunderwaffe DG-2 replicashave been shared in the past, including one that works as a functional flamethrower, this design is truly creative. Made entirely out of styrofoam, the model looks homemade. At the same time, nothing about it looks cheap, with the Redditor nailing every aspect of the design. The different colors are all seen, be it the brown stock or the gold on top of the weapon.
The barrel itself looks just as unique as the in-game version, too, which is impressive given the styrofoam nature of the replica. Wdg-2 also includes a glow stick-like light bar inside the weapon, clearly meant to replicate the electric effect of the gun. The unique lightbulb magazines of the weapon are also well-realized, as these too light up as if they were the real deal. With the brighter aspects of the gun truly helping it stand out, making sure that these parts ofthe Wunderwaffe DG-2’s designare as impressive as possible was a wise idea.
One standout image from the Redditor shows that this is not the only Zombies replica in their collection. While the Wunderwaffe DG-2 is the largest of the bunch and is proudly positioned at the center of the lineup, the original twoversions of the Ray Gunare seen alongside it. These too appear to be made from styrofoam, with the bright and alien-like Ray Gun looking just as good as the darker and more streamlined Ray Gun Mark 2. The Winter’s Howl from Five can also be seen. With some of the most popular Zombies guns in their possession, wdg-2 is clearly building quite the lineup of styrofoam models.
With the Wunderwaffe DG-2 being one of thestrongest Wonder Weapons ever, it will be interesting to see if it returns inCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. For this talentedCall of DutyZombiesfan, though, a real-world version of the gun can be held whenever they want.
