Fans are getting a closer look atCall of Duty’s upcoming Season 2 Reloaded DLC forModern Warfare 2andWarzone 2, featuring a new Himmelmatt Expo map and Shredder operator among other new features.Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’s second DLC Season launched last month and added new content like a new Ashika Island Battle Royale map and the Multiplayer Ranked Play.
A second update forCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’s Season 2 was just teased yesterday, and gave players a glimpse at the long-running FPS franchise’s latest crossover. PastCall of Dutygames have seen special guest appearances fromDie Hard’s John McClain orLeatherface fromTexas Chainsaw Massacre, but few expected the villainous Shredder ofTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtlesfame to show up inCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 2as an operator. Nonetheless, yesterday’s Season 2 teaser hinted exactly this as a mysterious warrior appeared onscreen alongside a familiar-looking green canister.

The officialCall of Dutywebsite has now confirmed thatTMNT’s Shredder is coming toModern Warfare 2as part of the upcoming Season 2 Reloaded DLC. He will be included as an operator skin in a new Tracer Pack Operator Bundle, and players will be able to unlock his devastating ninjitsu powers. In addition to the Shredder,Call of DutySeason 2 will add a new Raid Episode centered around a hunt for a powerful warhead across Atomgrad and a new Himmelmatt Expo map for 6v6 multiplayer matches. Players will also be able to wield the new Tempus Torrent Marksman Rifle.
Season 2 Reloaded is also celebrating thethird anniversary ofCall of Duty: Warzoneby releasing free gifts at the in-game Store every few days. There will also be new Bundles available at the Store, such as one that provides new Shamrock and Awe bonuses in a limited-time event in Al Mazrah. Lastly, players will be able to take on new Path of the Ronin challenges that reward a new camo skin for every weapon class.
Although the Shredder operator skin was basically revealed to fans earlier this week,Call of DutySeason 2 Reloadedlooks to add a host ofnew content toModern Warfare 2and Warzone 2. Players will be able to dine on turtle soup as the Shredder or wage war at the mountaintop Himmelmatt Expo when Season 2 Reloadedlaunches on March 15.
