Season 11 ofCall of Duty Mobilewill be launching next week and will feature a Santa-themed skin for Snoop Dogg. This will be the last season of the year forCall of Duty Mobileand will come with a new battle pass and themed unlocks.While it may seem odd, this is far from the first appearance ofSnoop Dogg inCall of Duty. The rapper made his first became part ofCall of Dutyin 2014 as a DLC voice pack forCall of Duty: Ghosts. He has since been featured inCall of Duty: Warzone,Call of Duty: Vanguard,and previous seasons ofCall of Duty Mobile. Season 11 has a holiday theme, but with a cosmic twist that will also offer space-themed unlocks. At the forefront of this season is Snoop Dogg, highlighted in a recent trailer in his newest Santa Snoop Operator Skin alongside a Legendary Holiday Lights Weapon Blueprint for the RUS-79U. New skins will also be available for Operators Woods and Grinch as well as Weapon Blueprints for the Krig 6, Holger 26, and the upcoming EM2 assault rifle returning fromCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. Ultimate Frontier launches at 4 PM Pacific Time on December 14.
Similar to season 2 of thefree-to-play battle royaleFall Guys,Call of Duty Mobile’s next season will also include space-themed items and unlocks. These will include the Astronaut skin for Operator Mil-Sim and the Comet Seeker skin for Operator Silver. Some in-game weapons will also be given the celestial treatment such as the Martian Munitions Weapon Blueprint for the AGR 556. All of these unlocks will launch alongside new seasonal challenges and the new 12v12 mode Ground War 2.0 in which teams will battle using the new War Beast Tank.
With the continued support ofCall of Duty Mobileand the recent limited release ofCall of Duty: Warzone Mobile, it is clear thatCall of Dutyhas found a new home on mobile devices. However, unlike a game such asFortnite,Call of Dutyoffers mobile players a different experience from their PC and console counterparts rather than simply a port of the game.Fortnite’s crossovers of licensed charactersfrom across the realm of pop culture have helped give it the kind of exposure thatCall of Duty Mobilemay never reach, even with the appearance of someone like Snoop Dogg. Despite this, it is clear thatCall of Duty Mobileplayers will not be running out of content anytime soon.
