There’s no mistakingDoom Eternalfor your average military FPS. Fans of Bethesda and id’s hit shooter have compared the game to a death metal album cover come to life. Thanks to a new lithograph print released on Bethesda’s merch store, Slayers out there can get a taste ofDoom Eternal’s brutal action in their home decor.
Made with help from artists Billelis and Luke Preece, the print features a kaleidoscope-like arrangement of familiar elements like the pesky Revenant demon, a pair of Crucible swords, and both ofDoom Eternal’s shotguns, anchored together by theDoom Slayer’s helmet. Both creators' styles shine through in the poster’s art, blending Billelis’s realistic renders with Preece’s comic-like linework.

Fans can pick up a print for themselves on Bethesda’s official merchandise store. Pre-orders of the art won’t ship until January 2021, but only 600 copies of the poster will be printed, so interested Slayers will want to jump on the offer while they can. The poster is 24 x 36 inches and comes printed on glossy lithograph paper.
The print’s release comes during something of a merch renaissance for Doom fans. Bethesda recently collaborated with GOODSMILE Company on aDoom Slayer Nendoroid figure, and the publisher’s store also has a healthy amount of gear to rip and tear through, like shirts, figures and drinking supplies.
With the physical release ofDoom Eternal’s Switch portgetting canceled in favor of a digital-only release on the Nintendo eShop, it looks like Bethesda and id are putting a larger focus on other merchandising avenues for the franchise for now. Fans playing on Switch may be disappointed to miss out on the chance to own a cartridge and case for the game, but they won’t be starved for options to show off their love for the gloriously gory series.
Doom Eternalhas been praised as a worthy follow-up to the franchise’s 2016 return, earning aGame of the Year nominationat the Game Awards alongside other beloved titles likeAnimal Crossing: New HorizonsandGhost of Tsushima.Fans can expect the Slayer’s rampage to continue in the second part of the game’s standaloneAncient GodsDLC in 2021.
Bethesda hasn’t announced plans for a full sequel to the game, but the series' status as a bright spot in the publisher’s lineup bodes well for its future. Microsoft addedDoom Eternalto the Xbox Game Passcatalog last month, and Bethesda’s pending acquisition by Xbox Game Studios means any future games would likely be published as first-party titles on Xbox and PC.
Doom Eternalis now available on PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One, with PS5, Switch, and Xbox Series X versions also in development.
