8The Amazing Race Challenge
Based on the realCBS reality seriesThe Amazing Race, 10 teams of two Sims will race to complete challenges and obstacles in several worlds ofThe Sims 4. For a total of eleven rounds, players must create a starting point and choose a challenge for each of the worlds they participate in. Challenges could vary from obtaining certain items to solving puzzles.
To make the challenge more interesting and difficult, each team should meet checkpoints where they will receive clues about their final destination. For example, players could send each team to San Myshuno, find a Japanese food stall, andorder a Pufferfish Nigiri dish. The team who finishes with the most amount of time will be eliminated. The winner of this challenge receives a million simoleons prize.
7Love Island Challenge
TheLove Island Challengeis a fun way to simulate the popular CBS reality showLove Island. For challenges like this one that require multiple Sims to live in the same household, it is best todownload the MC Command Center modto increase household sizes. Sims will enter the villa to attempt to find love by coupling up with their housemates. Sulani, the Polynesian-inspired world fromtheIsland Livingexpansion, would be the perfect place to hold this challenge.
Slowly but surely, new Sims will be introduced to the household for coupling. To remain in the challenge, a Sim must find a partner to couple up with. Any Sim without a pair is to be eliminated. The final couple will win 50,000 simoleons and the chance to start a life together.
6Master Chef Challenge
The Sims 4Master Chef Challengeis the perfect way to celebrate the arrival of theHome Chef Hustlestuff pack. Much like the competitive reality series that airs on FOX, players should gather a variety of aspiring cooks and bakers to compete in a head-to-head cooking competition. In their free time, the cooks may bolster their skills or upgrade their appliances to increase their chances of winning.
Players should create three different Sims as judges. For the General Cook challenge, the judges will assign all chefs to arecipe fromThe Sims 4. The Sims will be judged on how long it takes for them to cook, their hygiene, and the quality of their dish. The lowest scorers will take part in the Elimination Cook Challenge for the chance of being eliminated. This will continue until the grand finale when two of the best cooks use their skills to prepare a dish to wow the judges and become the Master Chef.
5Fixer-Upper Challenge
Builders are assets in the world ofThe Sims 4. This challenge is the perfect place for builders to practice their skills and dabble a bit in the art of gameplay and storytelling. The HGTV-inspiredFixer-UpperChallengeinvolves moving a Sim into an empty, run-down, and dilapidated house and having them renovate it into a beautiful living space. There are plenty ofnew techniques players can learn about buildingand severalmods that can help make the building process easier.
The catch is that all the simoleons used to renovate the house must be earned by the fixer-upper Sim(s). This challenge pairs nicely withtheDream Home Decoratorgame pack, which allows Sims to become an Interior Decorator and use the unique furniture that came with the pack.
4RuPaul’s Drag Race Challenge
Mirroring RuPaul’s popular reality LGBTQ+ MTV series, players will be creating aDrag Race Challengeof their own. Start by creating a drag queen or downloading them from the gallery. Each week, a drag queen will put on an outfit to be judged. The creator of this challenge recommends that players roll a die to decide which contestant will be eliminated.
A more exciting way to play this challenge may be to interact with the Sims community online and set up polls, so the audience can decide which drag queen should be eliminated that week. The winner could receive a cash prize and the chance to becharacters featured in future storylines, decided by the player.
3Survivor Challenge
Recreate the drama and excitement inThe Sims 4with theSurvivor Challengebased on the reality TV showSurvivoron CBS. The goal for this challenge is for eight Sims and their tribes to coexist together on oneoff-the-grid lotwith an outdoorsy or island theme. They will try their best to compete with and outlast the other castaways by completing physical and mental challenges, forming alliances, and avoiding elimination.
Create unique challenges such as endurance tests, obstacle courses, and brain-busting puzzles for each tribe to play.The user 8BitDylanhas showcased a lot of original challenges at work with his YouTuber Survivor Challenges. The Sims with the lowest relationships to the other castaways will be eliminated from the challenge, and the winner will be rewarded with a hefty cash prize.
2Big Brother Challenge
Much like the CBS reality show seriesBig Brother, a house of eight (or more, ifmods are installedto increase house size) Sims will be forced into one house together for theBig Brother Challengeand compete in challenges to become the Head of Household (HoH). This Sim will nominate two of their house guests for elimination. The creator of this challenge has laid out some rules about what is allowed and has offered some ideas for HoH and Veto competitions.
The winner of the Veto Challenge may veto one of the HoH’s nominations. At the end of the week, the house guests will cast their vote to evict one contestant, bringing them one step closer to their cash prize. Similar to theSurvivorchallenge, this challengerelies heavily on a Sim’s relationships. It is encouraged that players enable full autonomy for all their Sims and sit back and watch the drama unfold.
1The Bachelor / Bachelorette Challenge
For this challenge to mimic the authentic ABC reality experience, create a Sim forThe Bachelor / Bachelorette Challengewho is looking for love in a house of seven eligible Sims. Players have the freedom to create Sims that are diverse in their appearances and personalities. Place all eight Simsin a glorious mansionwith enough space for all Sims to live comfortably. Thus,money cheats are allowedand even encouraged for this challenge.
Go on dates or group outings with each of the seven contestants to build relationships. Give a rose to the contestants who will remain in the challenge. The Sim with the lowest relationship and compatibility will leave the mansion until only one remains. UrbanSims has even written out a day-by-day schedule for players to follow for the entirety of the challenge.
