Baldur’s Gate 3has all kinds of tools for you to play your way. If you’re looking for a good heavy armor set, you can’t do much better thanthe Helldusk Armor set.This rare heavy armor is one of the best in the game and can only be found in Act 3. This set is even better than the Flawed Helldusk Armor you can ask Dammon to forge in Act 2.
TheHelldusk Bootsare one of the most useful pieces of this armor set, as they grant the wearer the Steadfast and Hellcrawler abilities.Steadfastmakes the character immune to being moved by enemy spells or actions along with ignoring the effects of Difficult Terrain. TheHellcrawlerabilty allows the wearer to teleport during battle and cause an explosion where they land. The Helldusk Boots can only be found in one area, and you may have to fight for them.
Return to Wyrm’s Rock Fortress
Wyrm’s Rock Fortressis where you cross from Rivington intothe city of Baldur’s Gate.The entrance to the upper fortress is theAudience Hallon the eastern side, where you first see Gortash coronated.
The first floor will be filled with angry guards and Steel Watchers.Destroying the Steel Watcher foundrybeforehand will wipe out the hulking automaton guards. There are also mounted turrets on the walls that shoot fire if you get too close, along with grenade launchers. Swiftly pick up these grenades if they land nearby and throw them back at enemies. When you’ve defeated every one on this floor, you must use the passageway in the northwest corner. There will be a blacked out square on the map indicating its location.
Defeat Gortash
Walk around the roof carefully avoiding the many traps to enter Gortash’s quarters at the top of the fortress. Bring Karlach along to finish off her questline. This fight can be easy ifyou quickly beat Gortashbefore he transforms with the aid of Bane. Hissecond formis more powerful with crushing attacks and more enemies spawning.
Helldusk Boots Location
Speak with Karlach afterhe is dead. You can then loot his body for his Tyrant clothing, a unique crossbow, and akey.
