Now, Reddit user andBaldur’s Gate 3player Itsallcakes has used the character creator to make severaliconic characters fromWorld of Warcraft. The images only show the characters’ faces, and don’t show them in armor or as particular classes, but are otherwise near-perfect likenesses of the heroes and villains as they appear inWoW, down to the hair, eyes, and tattoos.

Many immediately went about trying to figure out the best builds inBaldur’s Gate 3to replicate the powers they use inWoW. In addition, some couldn’t help but notice that Arthas looked likefamous actor andWoWfan Henry Cavil, whom many wished to see play the fallen Paladin after his depiction of Geralt inThe Witcher.
World of Warcraftis not the first universe to appear inBaldur’s Gate 3thanks to the character creator, nor will it be the last.Baldur’s Gate 3fans have remade KeylethfromThe Legend of Vox MachinaandCritical Role, Doric fromDungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, and even Papa Smurf so far. The impressive character creator inBaldur’s Gate 3has plenty of options for players to make the perfect avatar, be they an original creation or one from their favorite media.
Baldur’s Gate 3is available now for PC. The PlayStation 5 version will be available on September 6th, 2023. A version for Xbox Series X/S is still in development.
