The news comes directly from Ubisoft, withAssassin’s Creed Valhalla’s 1.7.0 update planned for release on February 21 across all supported platforms. The change log itself is relatively small, with only small bug fixes and improvements made. However, the update does fix some issues with Ubisoft’s Helix Credits currency not appearing correctly, so the update may have been necessary if it was affecting player purchases. The previous major update for the game wasAssassin’s Creed Valhalla’s Last Chapter update, which brought a conclusive end to Eivor’s story, however, reception for this particular DLC was lukewarm at best. DespiteAssassin’s Creed Valhalla’s abundance of post-launch support, unfortunately, much of it has received a similar reception to The Last Chapter.

However, Ubisoft clearly feels the update is important enough to push out to players. The change log doesn’t state if this is the final update for the game, so there may be more small bug fixes on the way in the future.
