For example, the island must have eight villagers and strategically placed decorations. Still, for many players, reaching the top tier is worth the effort.
InNew Horizons, there are a few bonuses that players get after reaching five-star status. Sadly, only two of them are truly significant. They are as follows:

Moreover, Lily of the Valley flowers are exclusive to five-star islands. While they are gorgeous, some people may be disappointed to hear that these woodland flowering plants only grow at random around cliffs. Additionally, even though they don’t need to be watered, it can be disheartening to realize there are no other rewards in the game that would inspire people to continue maintaining their islands.

Introducing more rewards for achieving a 5-star island rating would not only provide players with more incentives to continue beautifying their towns but would also encourage more diverse island designs. Nintendo could add any of the following options, though it certainly aren’t limited to these:

Sadly, Nintendo has yet to officially announce any plans for expanding on these rewards. In fact, the Japanese video company hasn’t confirmed whether a new title is in the works at all. Still, the possibility of receiving new and exclusive items is a reason to remain hopeful. After all, due to the fact that the series is extremely successful, it seems that it’s just a matter of time until thenextAnimal Crossinginstallment is announced.
