Some fans will likely useAnimal Crossingas a way to say goodbye to2020, and the developers appear to have players covered. Announced on Twitter via the officialAnimal Crossingaccount, the game will feature New Year’s items to help players celebrate. This will include food items and party hats.
Players can access all of these items via theNook Shopping App on their in-game Nook phone, or from the Nook Shopping section of the ATM. It would be wise for players to purchase these items as soon as possible, considering that most items ordered via Nook Shopping tend to take some time before being delivered in-game.
It will be interesting to see what players do with these items. While this isn’t the biggestcontent update to come fromAnimal Crossing: New Horizons, it should still give players a way to celebrate New Year’s alone or with friends in-game. Though, what’s excited to think about is what will potentially come out ofAnimal Crossingin 2021.
