The journey of Mary can beendearing to indie lovers. The point-and-click game has an enchanting narrative that can dissolve the sense of time. People can get a glimpse of Mary from being a toddler who is dependent on her mother and father for her well-being to becoming an adult in the real world.
Players can click on the orange house in the hospital to view the memory of Mary moving into a new house. People cancircle the camera around the back of the orange housein the delivery room to access the memory of entering the abode. The objects that can be interacted with in the hospital are kept in front of the window.
9Move The Objects On The Mat
Mary is adorable as a toddler. After entering the new home, people can see a frame with Mary’s mother holding up the baby in her arms. Players candisplace the boxesbehind the toddler to reveal a box with Mary’s name written on it. Use a scissor to cut open the box to enter the toddler’s room.
The toddler’s room is simple and clean. It has a crib with Mary playing inside of it, a foldable chair, a dressing table, and a mat with several objects that can be interacted with.Move the teddy bear, alphabet blocks, and the stacking rings toyaway from the mat’s surface to enter the next memory.

Click on the butterfly on the porch to unveil a sweet memory of Mary staring at a cocoon in the outdoors with innocent eyes. Pan around the cocoon and click on it to catch Mary hiking with her mother and father. Players canclick on the butterflies after chasing them across the hiking trail.
6Draw Using The Droplets On The Window
After interacting with the colorful butterflies in nature, people can watch Mary dancing in the rain outside her house. Click on the puddle of water on the ground to enter her house. Inside the house, Mary can be seen staring out into the world while rain pours outside.

The narrative of Hindsightfocuses on the simple joys in life. Mary can be seen playing in the front yard while her mother finishes gardening around the house. Turn the camera around Mary to find a flower in her hand. Shake the flower till it disposes of the petals into blue umbrellas.
Once the petals of the flowers are thoroughly spread around the screen, players are transported to a starry night. Mary and her mother are mesmerized by the beauty of nature as they look into the night sky.Click on the clouds and move them awayfrom the Moon to reveal a memory of Mary standing on top of a building.
4Find The Bird On The Oak Tree
The Oak tree is a significant part of the story inHindsight. It is a pillar of strength that is placed right outside the house in the game. Mary can be seen swinging on a tire that is tied to the Oak tree. It can be fun to catch several instances of Mary smiling as she swings on the tire without a worry in the world.

The piano is among the oldest objects in the house. Mary reveals that her mother was in possession of the piano before she was born. Her mother taught herself how to play the piano, and the game encourages people to try their hand at the musical instrument themselves.
When adult Mary is sitting in front of the piano, players can hit the key at the center of the piano. The camera will begin to close in on the key every time the player hits the key. Mary frequently has to dochores around the house. These activities remind Mary of her time spent with her deceased mother. Many of these tasks help people gain a better perspective of what’s going on under the surface of Mary’s life.

Wiping the glass inside the house with a cloth and a glass cleaner reveals intricate details of what’s missing in Mary’s life after the passing of her mother. 1Stay Safe On The Beach
One of the coolest locations inHindsightis the beach. Mary can be seen havinga field day in the Sun near the beach. She builds castles in the sand with her father and tries to take a dip in the waters. Her mother warns her not to go too far into the deep, but Mary ignores her mother’s advice and ventures out into the sea.
A few minutes later, Mary’s father calls the lifeguard to save Mary from the depths of the sea. An embarrassed Mary reconsiders her actions after risking her life in the sea. Unlike sand castles that can be washed up, a life lost can’t be rebuilt.
